Mani Zarrin’s love for photography and design began as a child. He moved to the U.S. to study Photography and Art History at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. After FIT, he went on to work as an apprentice to famed fashion photographers, such as Alexi Hey, Mark Abrahams, Carter Smith, Liz Von Hoene, and Zach Gold.
Mani’s artwork has been published by L’official Dubai, Alef, Kenton, Nylon, Viva Magazine, and many more. In 2010, he partnered with SoHo Studio and Departure Productions to better serve commercial and advertising clients. Mani has also collaborated with Bloomingdale’s Macy’s, National Geographic Channel and Di Modolo. In 2014, he consulted for Puff Daddy's creative agency, Blue Flame on the CIROC, DeLeon and SEAN JOHN accounts.
In 2015 Mani founded Apex Creative - an agency specializing in digital and social media marketing services with a unique focus on visual content production and storytelling. Apex also focuses on building out engaging audiences for new and established brands. By combining Mani's photography and knowledge in the social media space, brands can directly tap into the vast world of fans and customers on platforms such as Instagram. Clients include: Symrise, Echo Design, Jacob&Co, Nair, PlaneAire and Johnson&Johnson's NEOSTRATA.
